Demand side energy management reduces the amount of energy consumed through a series of strategies to cut back, curtail, and reduce your energy consumption to take advantage of the natural cost reduction found in reduced consumption but also rebate programs provided by states to reward efficient and timely use or lack of use of energy.

In an effort to reduce energy consumption during critical peak demand periods, many states have monetized programs to reduce energy consumption. Our clients have received rich rewards for their ability to cut back or cut off their energy consumption at key times where grid operators need all of the capacity available to serve critical use consumers.

Customers with backup or alternative generation can not only earn revenue from cutting back or cutting off entirely their energy consumption but can also be richly rewarded for generating power to push back out onto the grid to meet critical needs.
